Workshop: Wellbeing & Social Sustainability

Museums are more than just exhibition spaces; they are places that can strengthen social wellbeing and promote social resilience. But how does this work in practice? What projects already exist in Austria and what is the Wellbeing Footprint?

We will explore this in a workshop organised by Museumsbund Österreich (the Austrian Museum Association) and hosted by Belvedere 21 in Vienna on 25 March 2026: Im Museum angekommen - Wellbeing & Soziale Nachhaltigkeit (Arriving at the Museum - Wellbeing & Social Sustainability).

> QWB Lab’s Sabine Doolin will speak about the Wellbeing Footprint and how cultural organisations can reframe their value,

> 4 museums will share inspiring projects from museum visits on prescription to the role of nature and culture as health factors,

> Artful will lead an interactive workshop demonstrating practical methods for mindfulness and sensory communication in museums.

Participation is free but there are only 20 places, so be quick to register.

We hope to see some of our Austrian followers there!
